As a young man Sanmi moved to the UK, not for property but to look for any opportunity to create prosperity. His journey towards this goal began with a spatula in hand and a conveyor belt of sizzling burger patties, churning his way behind the grill at McDonald’s. As time progressed, he was able to graduate from flipping burgers to teaching the new employees the proper wrist rotation.
He was elevated to a managerial position and this gave him the vantage point to see the company for what it really was. 

From this new perspective he realised that McDonald’s was not simply a fast food chain, their real power came as a real estate enterprise. This realisation fueled Sanmi as it opened his eyes to an avenue to achieving the prosperity he had been seeking. He left McDonald’s and spent his time learning about real estate and wealth creation as he looked for a sliver of space in a well-established industry. No longer working at McDonald’s, to sustain himself during this period he worked numerous security guard jobs.
